Ice Bra

Haha I just came across a new kind of bra that kind of made me laugh. In Japan due to the extremely hot and humid summers and because they are trying to save energy, Triumph has invented the "ice bra". The cups are filled with a gel that remains soft and supple even when frozen, giving the wearer a cool sensation. The bra features a pair of small fish tanks encompassing the breasts, a traditional Japanese wind chime and a mint leaf. The models are also wearing skirts made of mosquito nets and bamboo shades! What do you think? If you lived in a hot and humid place, would you consider it?

Spring shopping

So I did  a little more shopping today :D I actually set out to buy a Mother's Day present for my mom (which I actually did, I bought a white and brown bag for her) but of course I couldn't resist buying a couple of things for myself :p So what do you guys think?

Cheap shopping

A couple of days ago I picked up 2 pair of shoes a pair of earrings. I really needed some every day shoes and since I'm a med intern I wanted/needed them to be comfortable. And the earrings I just couldn't resist :p

The shoes were €12,5 each and the earrings were €6. So the total price was €31 :)

It-girl: Blake Lively

It-girl Blake Lively was born into a showbizz family in California and quickly followed in the footsteps of her parents and sisters, but only truly became famous when she starred in the popular teen drama series Gossip Girl. In the series she plays upper east side it-girl Serena Van der Woodsen, a titel she quickly gained in real life as well. Since the premiere of Gossip Girl in 2007 Blake has been on the cover of Vogue, TeenVogue, Wmagazine, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Nylon, Seventeen and much more around the world. Girls all over the world aspire to look and act like her and men want to be with her. And I think as long as Gossip Girl is running, her popularity is pretty safe :)

It-girl: Cory Kennedy

Cory Kennedy is considered to be the internet's very first it-girl. Cory was born on 21st of Februari 1990 and gained her fame when she met the photographer Mark Hunter (who goes by the alias "The Cobrasnake"). Soon she became a true internet phenomenon at the age of fifteen, and lived from her party girl image. She appeared on the cover of Nylon, Los Angeles Times, The New York Post and some pictures of her even appeared in the Andy Warhol Museum. Eventually she met the fate of every it-girl, she grew up and lost her teenage-party-girl image and with that her fame and fortune...

Hunger Games

Anyone who has not seen Hunger Games, should put on their shoes and go see it right now. I really enjoyed the movie and am SO looking forward to the next one!
The movie is based on the first book of a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. The second film 'Catching Fire' should appear in about a year.

DIY: laurel wreath

Hey everyone! So in a couple of days I have this Rome-themed party and I thought I'd go for the toga-look.. I just finished making a laurel wreath out of this crown that I had lying around, what do you guys think?

So I basically just cut the same leaf shape out over and over again...

... and then taped them all together!

Really simple and easy to do, but I think it looks all right, don't you?

23rd birthday!!

So guess what?? I turned 23 this past weekend :) I wanted to show you guys my presents en some bday party pics :)

First of all my parents got me a camera! Yeeey! So happy :) It's the olympus tough camera that's water- and shockproof. Considering how clumsy I am sometimes, it's a pretty good choice :p. And I'm sure I'll get some great under water shots this summer!!

My boyfriend got me an authentic limited addition Wayfarer Ray-Ban!! I absolutely love it! I'm so lucky :)
